Last Saturday ShopWasteland, along with our buds over at LA Canvas and MINKPINK, said helllllo to summer with the kick off of The Dive Club- one helluva pool party at the Roosevelt Hotel’s Tropicana Pool & Bar in Hollyweird. With the booze flowing and the tunes pumping, naturally s#!t got extra weird, just the way we like it. Check out some of the most epic moments from the madness and don’t be too bummed if you missed out, because there’s always June, July, and August to join the club and get in on the insanity… peep on!

Come get weird with The Dive Club tomorrow, May 18th, at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel’s Tropicana Pool & Bar. S#!t is guaranteed to get wild, FAST, so early arrival is suggested. See ya there!

It’s that time of the year again when the party crowd comes crashing in on the tiny little town of Indio, CA in all their steezy glory and raises good ol’ fashioned hell… also commonly referred to as Coachella. You may have heard of it. This weekend is the first of two weekends, that’s right- double the madness, and it is guaranteed to get weird. If you’re desert bound this weekend we wish you and your liver the best of luck! And if not, there’s always next weekend to get in on the insanity.

Seems like every major skateboarding video released in the past couple years was heavily staged. Tons of special effects, animations and epic storylines are great and all - can’t blame an industry for trying to reinvent itself - but when it comes to babes on boards, we do like to keep things raw… ;)

… and if you’re standing by us on this one, you sure as hell won’t be disappointed in The (already legendary) Deathwish Video that premiered last weekend at the Orpheum Theater in DTLA.

Let’s be clear, can’t think of a better group of guys. Each talented fool on the Deathwish team has a strong, unique, mega charming personality that makes it almost impossible for us to pick a favorite. Except that last Saturday, the spotlight was on Jon Dickson, who killed it with the last part.

Minutes before the screening, a bunch of roller girls stormed on screen for Slash’s big announcement: JON DICKSON is PRO!

How often do you see someone get a life-changing announcement in front of your eyes?! Now that was rad.

Seriously, we’ll take this deck!

As expected on such a huge occasion - the video was 5 years in the making - things got weird and the night turned into a hell of a party. Peep The Deathwish Video trailer HERE and get in on the behind the scenes action from the madness HERE too!

Last weekend LA’s fashion-obsessed and general good-time crowd gathered at the ShopWasteland HQ for one helluva shop ‘til you drop situation. With the booze flowing, the clothes flying off the racks, and the tunes pumpin’, everyone stocked up and got weird, Wasteland style. Check out some of the most memorable moments from the madness courtesy of shutterbug, Steff Walk.

A few weeks ago Wasteland and the Wild Ones teamed up to bring the weird to sin city. The booze and tunes flowed as all the party people packed it in to Commonwealth for the Pool Tradeshow opening party. Check out a few of the most memorable moments of the night with some photobooth fun courtesy of shutterbug, Jiro Schneider.
