So yesterday, we gave our Sunday couch groove a break and invaded this year’s Hudson Block Party! With performances by White Rabbits, of Montreal, Haim, and Saint Motel (to name a few), we bro-ed down, ate some ahh-mazing food, and even shopped some of our faves like UNIF and Dimepiece. To top things off, we all witnessed the INSANE solar eclipse that went down. It was magical, and we want to thank PowerPlant Choppers for providing us with the welding helmets to appreciate the badass view, without burning our retinas right off. If you missed it and live in LA, it’s cool. There will be another one equally as awesome in about…59 years. Ouch!

Last saturday we stepped out to James Franco’s Rebel. The show was a nod to Nicholas Ray’s 1955 film Rebel Without a Cause starring James Dean and Natalie Wood. Originally thought up by Franco to be a Full length feature spin off of RWAC, the idea was split to mini films curated into the most intricate gallery mirroring the bungalows of the Chateau Marmont. The show features James Franco, Douglas Gordon, Harmony Korine, Damon Mccarthy, Paul Mccarthy, Terry Richardson, Ed Ruscha, and Aaron Young.
